PROPOSAL SUBMISSION FORM Thank you for your interest in presenting at the
Somos
JMU Latinx Conference on October 28, 2022. This year's event,
Collaborations Across the Commonwealth,
will be an in-person event and will examine current trends in Latinx topics such as social justice, health equity, identity and representation, and how this population is reshaping the demographics in the Commonwealth. After our keynote presentation with Dolores Huerta, we are excited to offer a wide variety of sessions of interest for our participants

Proposals should identify objectives and measurable outcomes, and demonstrate their importance to Latino/a/x communities in Virginia and how they support the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Proposals that are collaborative efforts with colleagues throughout Virginia are encouraged! The deadline for proposal submissions is June 3, 2022 by 11:59 p.m. You will be notified by June 5, 2022 whether your proposal has been accepted or not. If there are multiple presenters in your session, the person submitting the proposal will be listed as the main contact.
